Rebel Religion Works was born out of a desperate need for me to say something about what I've been through and the lessons I've learned in my life. I've always been attracted to the subculture and its function in society. So I took writing classes, wrote some stories and found that my stories all had one thing in common... my lead characters were dark. Dark, but you rooted for them and they were unwillingly funny, which I really liked. Then one day, one of my plays got into a festival, I shot a film in Puerto Rico and produced Edward Albee's At Home At The Zoo and momentum built. With the help of some very important people in my life we've managed to put up meaningful and entertaining art. Now we're collaborating with other artists with similar themes and the same goal; to produce art with a purpose. I am incredibly excited about our future!

AD-

Rebel Religion Works is about producing work that has to do with the unlikely heroes or the anti heroes. Stories about broken spirits rising with courage in the absence of light. We're exploring the true nature of the sub-culture and our heroes that navigate through it in order to bring us the lessons of the underground or the unknown. Working on both stage and film to bring you these stories of The Heroes Journey into the Night.
